2000 DramaThe Ottoman Empire at the turn of the 20th century. This is the story of a great friendship between two men: Mitré, a poor Macedonian Christian and Osman, a rich Turkish Muslim. Despite the social and cultural differences between the two families, their friendship lasts for years... But the tension at that time becomes too big: the friendship falls apart. Little Pavel, nephew of Mitré, becomes reason of an escalation of violence and vengeance. Two generations later, Pavel is living in Belgium under the name of Paul. He has a daughter, Els. Orchan, descendant of Osman, arrives with the quest of finding him and revenging his family. He falls in love with Els, without knowing that her father is the one he has to kill. When he finds out the truth, he finds himself faced with a great dilemma: kill Pavel in name of his family's honour or forgive him in name of love and friendship.
