With the pandemic expected to roll for at least another six months (yes, sorry to break it to you this way), podcasts have thankfully not known any major impacts.

Case in point, Tommy Tiernan and Hector O'hEochagain are reuniting for a weekly podcast series with ex-iRadio presenter Laurita Blewitt for Acast. The series is recorded, per the official release, "in the hen house at the bottom of a garden in Connemara on the west coast of Ireland" with lifelong chums Tommy Tiernan, Hector O'hEochagain and Laurita Blewitt.

"The day we record the podcast I get that giddy excited feeling in my mind and body," O'hEochagain said, in the announcing statement. "We all have certain friends who are just great fun and craic to be around, this podcast is “that friend” in a nutshell."

"When we get to the garden shed I know the chat will be good, I know I’m going to laugh, I know that I’m going to sit and listen to all sorts of stories , where and how we get around to these stories no one knows but what I hope is that they will whisk the listener away for a while as they tune in."

The podcast launches today on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, Acast, and all podcast platforms.
