The Spice Girls reunion over the summer may have gone extremely well, but it looks like one of them is more interested in branching out into a TV career.
Mel B has been announced as the replacement for team captain Paddy McGuinness, who is departing the show over 'scheduling conflicts' relating to his role on 'Top Gear'. McGuinness had only been on the show for a year, having replaced Fearne Cotton.
She issued a statement that read: "I am so happy that I’m going to be part of the Celebrity Juice family and thrilled to be a captain. ‘My mission is to give Keith a run for his money. Watch out. Things are going to get even more crazy."
Given that Keith Lemon - aka comedian Leigh Francis - relentlessly lampooned the Spice Girl during his Bo Selecta days, we may have a few feisty episodes on our hands for the next series.
Holly Willoughby will return as the other team captain.
The series will return in the autumn with a broadcast date TBC.
