It's been a few years since the last one, so it's probably about time 'Coronation Street' took on another teen pregnancy. While nothing will ever be as a shocking as a young Sarah Platt having a baby back in 2000 (resulting in the now fully-grown Bethany) this one is still pretty unexpected.
It's been reported that in 2019 Amy Barlow (Elle Mulvaney) will discover she is pregnant. The 14-year-old is set to have her life turned upside down and will be faced with the heartbreaking decision of whether to keep the baby or not.
Naturally her parents Tracy and Steve hit the roof with Tracy vowing to "kill" the father of the child, although we don't know who that is yet.
A source told The Sun: "Amy is seen sobbing her heart out, asking her granny Liz to help. Steve finds a pregnancy kit and tells Tracy about it and they both lose their rag. Tracy says she wants to kill the baby’s father.
"They demand an abortion and Amy agrees but changes her mind at the 11th hour."
Could we get a granny and granddad Tracy and Steve in 2019? Great-granny Liz?? We'll have to wait and see.
