Young comic Jack Whitehall, who is now starring in Channel 4's brand new (and rather rubbish) drama Fresh Meat, takes to the stage of Hackney Empire and reflects on My Funniest Year, 2005. Jack chooses 2005 because for him it was a momentous year - the year he turned 17, left school, and lost his virginity in Antony Worrall Thompson's gastro pub. There was also Live 8, the hunting ban, the introduction of 24 hour drinking and the launch of YouTube. He'll also feel at liberty to scrutinises the start of TV shows including Come Dine with Me. He also discusses the publics' reaction to the weddings of Peter Andre and Katie Price, and Prince Charles and Camilla, and relives England's Ashes win with guest Andrew Flintoff. Want something funny without Jack's Whitehall's annoying head? There's a new series of 8 Out of 10 Cats starting at 10.30pm. The first edition sees boxer Amir Khan, IT Crowd star Richard Ayoade and comics Holly Walsh and Josh Widdicombe join the regular fixtures of Sean Lock and yer man Jon Richardson.
