On a trip to Yorkshire, Claire forces Jonathan to lie to her parents about their break-up, a lie that goes way too far. Dan and Courtney go on respective mum's and dad's nights out. The professor calls Dan asking for an answer on the job, so she seeks advice from her fellow 'dads'. The nights are both very different, but Courtney's ends with a shock revelation as Dan makes a decision about her dream job.
