It'll be another great night on the sofa for the history buffs as this brand new documentary series about the Irish War of Independence comes to a close this evening. This time Professor Eunan O'Halpin is heading south to Cork, the county where the War of Independence was most fiercely fought. He'll be visiting an old medieval vault by the name of Sing Sing, which the IRA used as a holding cell, looking at the activities of the Cork No. 1 Brigade, and meeting local historian Jim Fitzgerald, who has some very revealing interviews to share.
