Every week, Bear faces a new extreme environment, from the jungles of Belize to the heart of Dracula country in Romania; from the Dominican Republic, in the middle of hurricane season, to Siberia, one of the harshest and coldest places on Earth. In the first episode of the new series, Bear is dropped into the jungles of Belize during the rainy season. He tackles treacherous waterfalls, swollen underground rivers and secret Mayan caves. He plays Tarzan in the trees; has a one-on-one with a three metre boa constrictor; and is left hanging by his fingertips over a raging white-water river. Bear manages to build a raft and sets off downstream, heading for the coast. But, as darkness falls, there is still no sign of open water...
