There's a pretty incredible list of actors lined up for the latest series from creator Charlie Brooker.

The Netflix hit is making a comeback. Back in May we got word of 'Black Mirror' season six being in development, and today we've got a rundown of some of the cast that will be appearing in the next batch of episodes of the anthology series.

'Breaking Bad' alum Aaron Paul leads the charge, an actor who has swapped meth-making for another sci-fi series of late, HBO's 'Westworld'. Also joining the cast is Zazie Beetz, who is well-known for playing Domino in 'Deadpool 2' and also starring in the Donald Glover comedy series 'Atlanta'.

But we're just getting started. Also set to traverse the dystopian future setting of 'Black Mirror' season six are Josh Hartnett ('Lucky Number Sleven'), Kate Mara ('Pose'), Danny Ramirez ('Top Gun: Maverick'), Paapa Essiedu ('I May Destroy You'), Clara Rugaard ('The Rising'), Auden Thornton ('This Is Us') and Anjana Vasan ('Killing Eve').

According to Variety, this is only the cast of three episodes of the season, with more names expected to be announced for the remaining episodes. Although season five only carried three episodes in total, season six will contain more.

It's been three years since the last entry in the franchise, a series that starred Andrew Scott, Miley Cyrus, Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Pom Klementieff and Topher Grace. Plot details of the forthcoming season are naturally under wraps, but production is believed to already be underway.

'Black Mirror' has been one of Netflix's most popular TV series since moving across from Channel 4 from season three onwards. The Charlie Brooker creation has helped launch some now pretty well-known actors' careers, including Mackenzie Davis and Gugu Mbatha-Raw ('San Junipero') and Cristin Milioti ('USS McCallister').
