In news that nobody was expecting (or arguably wanted), one of the biggest British bands of the early 2010s are getting back together.

N-Dubz - aka Dappy, Tulisa and Fazer - have announced their intention to reform after a decade-long hiatus, with a new single being released this Thursday.

It's called 'Charmer' and was announced by the group's vocalist, Tulisa, on social media, with a post teasing the track as the London trio emerged from a helicopter.

They will also embark on a UK arena tour in November - although there is no mention of an Irish date as yet.

The song, said a spokesperson for the group, "is instantly recognisable as an N-Dubz song, featuring their trademark storytelling via the slick raps of Dappy and Fazer, alongside the sassy vocals of Tulisa."

It will be premiered on BBC1 Xtra on Thursday evening.

The trio enjoyed enormous success with their three albums 'Uncle B' (2008), 'Against All Odds' (2009) and 'Love.Life.Life' (2010), but also courted controversy thanks to the group's 'bad boy' Dappy, who has received several convictions for assault in more recent years.

They went on hiatus in 2011 to embark on solo careers, and Tulisa became known for her role as a judge on The X Factor from 2011 - 2012, as well as becoming embroiled in a drugs scandal several years ago - although all charges against her were later dropped.
