With restrictions eased, the upcoming festival season is now truly at the front of everyone's minds.

We've also had a heap of announcements come our way over the last couple of weeks. Fairview Park is going to be very busy this coming June with its set of shows. The National Museum at Collins Barracks will also be an exciting venue for its upcoming gigs this August.

Forbidden Fruit have joined in on the excitement with an announcement of several new acts. The festival takes place on June Bank Holiday weekend (4th and 5th).

Already announced for the 10 year anniversary show are Bicep, Lorde, Hot Chip, Peggy Gou, Gemma Dunleavy, The Avalanches and Kojaque.

Joining them are Loyle Carner, Krystal Klear, Logic1000, Overmono Live, Partyboi69, Saoirse BKLAVA, Lex Amor, ONES, Prospa Live, Cooks But We’re Chefs Absolute, Marlon Williams, 49th & Main, Joy Anonymous and Trinity Orchestra.

The festival also announced their 2FM Rising acts for the Bank Holiday weekend. They are Cian DuCrot, EFÉ, KYNSY, Malaki, Monjola, NewDad, Selló, Shiv, Sprints, Smoothboi Ezra and Sophie Doyle Ryder.

2FM Rising is an initiative and platform from 2FM that chooses a number of Irish artists each year that they feel are extremely talented and are representing Irish music in an exciting way.
