The Super Bowl is famous for many things (rousing American national anthems, halftime shows, ridiculous celebrity-filled adverts) as well as the American football played on the pitch, and one of those things is big trailer drops.

We've had many over the years and last night didn't disappoint with two full trailers and plenty of shorter ones thrown into the mix as well.

'The Flash'

The biggest trailer was DC and Warner Bros.' 'The Flash' which gave comicbook fans all the multiverse jumping and cameos they've been waiting for. The film has been mired in controversy thanks to star Ezra Miller's off-screen behaviour so fans have generally just been thankful to see it's getting released and not receiving the 'Batgirl' treatment. Fingers crossed we all make it to release on June 16th.

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3'

'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3' also got a new trailer, with Star-Lord finally reuniting with Gamora, just a very different one, and all of the gang heading out on another death-defying mission "one last time". Will there be tears? Probably. We'll find out on May 5th.

'Fast X'

And not to be left out, 'Fast X', yes, the tenth 'Fast and the Furious' film, dropped a new trailer over the weekend leading up to the Super Bowl, and then dropped another teaser during it. If any franchise is going to go big, it's this one.

'Fast X' is set for release on May 19th.

And then there are all the shorter TV spots, none of which really stood out apart from 'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny' and 'Super Mario Bros.', the former mostly thanks to John Williams' iconic score and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, and the latter giving us more of an idea of where the comedy is going in the video game adaptation.

It all feels very familiar, right?

'Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny'
'Super Mario Bros.'
'Scream VI'
'65'
'Transformers: Rise of the Beasts'
'Air'
'Creed III'
