Xbox owners are in store for a blockbuster Christmas, with a series of big hit titles hitting the Game Pass service.

The hotly-anticipated 'Halo Infinite' will be added to the service on it's launch day of December 8th, which follows Xbox's model of putting their first-party exclusive titles on their streaming service.

'Halo Infinite' is the first mainline entry in the 'Halo' franchise since 2015's 'Halo 5: Guardians' and sees players assume the role of Master Chief once again.

In addition to the multi-player being free-to-play, Microsoft want as many people as possible to get their hands on the game, with the full game available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers.

Putting 'Forza Horizon 5' on the service helped the game become Xbox's biggest ever launch, and if any game can break that record, it's a 'Halo' game.

Global smash hit 'Among Us' will also be added to the service in December, as the game makes the leap from mobile and PC to the console market.

'Among Us' will be available on the service from December 14, and is playable both over local wi-fi or in the traditional online mode that made the game so famous.

Legendary timesink 'Stardew Valley' is also part of the December raft of games, making it the perfect game to get stuck into over Christmas, as well as, yes, 'Lawnmower Simulator'.

For RPG fans, 'Final Fantasy XIII-2' has also been added to the December line-up.

December's line-up covers gamers of all types, and there's something for everyone from the latest first-person shooter, a JRPG, or a game where you simulate operating a lawnmower.
