'Office Ladies' does a deep-dive on every episode of 'The US Office', from two of its stars.
Podcasts on TV show are nothing new, but what's become an interesting trend is podcasts on TV shows with people who actually worked on it.
For example, the HBO miniseries 'Chernobyl' had a making-of podcast with Craig Mazin, the showrunner, and 'Wait Wait Don't Tell Me' host Peter Sagal. 'The West Wing', which has been off the air since 2006, has had a podcast on the go since 2016 with Joshua Malina, who was in the latter seasons of the show, with Hrishikesh Hirway.
TV shows that have had a long shelf like 'Star Trek' have multiple podcasts, but now it's the turn of 'The US Office' to gets it own podcast, with Jenna Fischer and Angela Kinsey taking on the role of hosts. Fischer, of course, played Pam Beesley while Angela Kinsey played Angela, the highly-strung accountant obsessed with her cats.
The series, called 'Office Ladies', begins on October 16th and will be available on Stitcher, Spotify, Apple Podcasts and wherever you download or stream podcasts from and will be available for free.
Each week, the duo - who are best friends in real life, as it turns out - break down a new episode each and every week, and discuss their own memories from the show, and what went into the episode. No doubt there'll likely be guests involved, including the likes of John Krasinski and Steve Carrell.
Here's hoping this gets a mention, because it's easily one of the funniest moments in the series.
