"In a relationship there are things I won’t tolerate. Lack of respect, disloyalty & dishonesty are amongst those things."

Another week, another 'Love Island' split. While Jordan and Danny's break up won't come as too much of a surprise to anyone, they still went a lot further than most would have predicted last summer.

Danny's time in the Villa was the source of much controversy following his recoupling with Arabella which resulted in Yewande being dumped from the Island. Arabella was then voted off and days later Danny got with Jourdan.

They were then both voted off 'Love Island' and appeared to be going from strength to strength. They had only recently moved in together while there was even talk of marriage on an interview with Channel 5.

The Sun Online first reported on their split yesterday with a source saying, "Jourdan and Danny have had a few ups and downs since leaving the show but they had been getting on great recently and Jourdan was so happy.

"Things changed in the last few weeks though and Danny started acting distant and started going on more nights out. Jourdan started to hear rumours he was speaking to other girls behind her back.  She confronted him about it but he just laughed it off.

"Next thing she knows, Jourdan is getting messages from girls saying Danny he's been flirting with them and then she hears he's spent all night partying with loads of random women. She called him and told him it was over and that he wouldn't be wasting her time anymore.”

Jourdan has released a statement on Instagram confirming the split and she did not hold back saying, "I have to respect me first".

She continued, "I genuinely had such a great time in my relationship and I don’t regret the decisions I’ve made as far as choosing to give someone a chance however, I have boundaries. In a relationship there are things I won’t tolerate. Lack of respect, disloyalty & dishonesty are amongst those things. I know people will come with the “I told you so”, “you should’ve listened” (maybe it’s true) & more than likely snigger/laugh at my situation.

"The reality is my mum raised me to be a strong woman and always give the benefit of the doubt and let people prove themselves to you. Which is what I did. I went into this with a genuine heart & real intention to make it work. The love was as real as the hurt is now. But.... I will continue to grow and love myself first. If it doesn’t feel right, it’s not right ."
