'Stowaway' | April 22
On a mission headed to Mars, an unintended stowaway accidentally causes severe damage to the spaceship’s life support systems. Facing dwindling resources and a potentially fatal outcome, the crew is forced to make an impossible decision. 'The Mitchells vs. The Machines' | April 30
We can't wait for this one. 'Solar Opposites' Season two | April 9
'Solar Opposites' centres around a family of aliens, Korvo, Terry, and their child-replicants Yumyulack and Jesse, from planet Shlorp, who crash on Earth and must take refuge in middle America. They disagree on whether this is awful or awesome.
'Filthy Rich' | April 9
This larger than life Southern Gothic dramedy revolves around two strong, sharp women who will go to any length to protect their loved ones and get their due, and we will watch anything with Kim Cattrall attached ('Sex and the City' sequel series, you missed out). When the wealthy CEO of the world’s largest Christian network dies in a plane crash, his wife and adult children are stunned to discover he has grown, illegitimate kids who are also in his will.
'Grown-ish' | April 16
The first of multiple spin-offs from 'Black-ish', this young adult series follows Zoey Johnson as she heads to college and begins her hilarious journey to adulthood. The series is a contemporary take on the current issues facing both students and administrators in the world of higher education. Season one and two arrives on April 16, with season three arriving on April 30.
'Nomadland' | April 30
The highly-anticipated and Oscar-nominated 'Nomadland' centres on Fern (Frances McDormand), who, following the economic collapse of a company town in rural Nevada, packs her van and sets off on the road exploring a life outside of conventional society as a modern-day nomad.

'National Theatre: Romeo & Juliet' | Sky Arts April 4
The National Theatre transforms its Lyttleton theatre into a film studio to present this new production of William Shakespeare’s tragic tale, starring our own Jessie Buckley and 'The Crown' star Josh O’Connor in the title roles. Originally planned for the stage and reconceived by director Simon Godwin in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic, the production also features Adrian Lester, Lloyd Hutchinson, Colin Tierney and Ella Dacres in supporting roles.
'Wellington Paranormal' | Sky Comedy April 5
This is the spin-off series from Taika Waititi's highly-acclaimed 'What We Do In The Shadows'. The comedy series follows officers Minogue and O’Leary, who are invited to join the new Wellington Paranormal Unit of the Police and encounter hilarious monsters and paranormal beings.
'Grey’s Anatomy' Season 17 | Sky Witness April 7

'Them' | April 9
The new terror anthology series comes from breakout creator Little Marvin. The ten-episode Amazon Original is a limited anthology series that explores terror in America. The 1950s set first season centres on a Black family who moves from North Carolina to an all-white Los Angeles neighbourhood during the period known as The Great Migration. The family’s idyllic home becomes ground zero where malevolent forces, next-door and otherworldly, threaten to taunt, ravage and destroy them.
'Sound of Metal' | April 12
Amazon Original and Academy Award nominated film, 'Sound of Metal', follows the story of metal drummer Reuben, who begins to lose his hearing. When a doctor tells him his condition will worsen, he thinks his career and life are over. His girlfriend Lou checks the former addict into rehab for the deaf hoping it will prevent a relapse and help him adapt to his new life. After being welcomed and accepted just as he is, Reuben must choose between his new normal and the life he once knew.
