Turn Back Time - The Family. BBC1: 9.00pm
Before we all start dwelling on Cher's tattooed arse in fishnets, while her poor son pretended to play guitar, this programme sees three families put through the mill when they experience family life during the interwar years. Returning to the 1920s, the Taylor family lead a life of leisure in an upper-class household, but the good times are soon over with the Wall Street crash. Living as a working-class family, the Meadows have good pay and working conditions - but are soon forced into desperate measures to survive. Meanwhile the Golding Family is relieved to be relatively unscathed - until father Ian learns some devastating truths about his Jewish ancestors' experiences in the East End of London.
