However, having progressed beyond the group stage at every World Cup and Euro tournament finals since 2014, the Rossocrociati will have high hopes of continuing that streak. The Bosnians failed to progress from the group stage at their only previous finals in Brazil in 2014, when a 3-1 victory over Iran in their final group game proved to be too little, too late after suffering losses to Argentina and Nigeria, and prior to this event that remains their only experience of major tournament football.
