It's basically ITV's version of Joseph and Over the Rainbow, but with added lights and less Graham Norton. Amanda Holden is the host as Andrew Lloyd Webber launches a new talent search to find a singer and actor to play the title role in a forthcoming arena tour of Jesus Christ Superstar. He is helped by judges Jason Donovan and Melanie C, who will be playing Mary Magdalene in the show, which also stars Tim Minchin and Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles, as Judas and Herod respectively. The process begins with the audition tour, where Andrew meets the early hopefuls, before the top 100 face the panel.
