Jeremy Wade hasn't been to Japan before, but the legend of a sinister child-snatching creature takes him to the Land of the Rising Sun tonight. The kappa, as the story goes, is believed to lurk in rivers, and Jeremy's off on a mission to discover the truth behind the horrific tales about this particularly nasty river monster. I couldn't bring myself to look at a lake after Loch Ness, so here's hoping I can still cross the Liffey after this one.
