In 2033, handsome Los Angeles party boy Nathan is involved in a terrible crash in his self-driving car. As Nathan teeters on the brink of death, his high-maintenance girlfriend uploads him permanently into a luxurious virtual reality environment overseen by Brooklyn-born customer service agent Nora. Her virtual alter ego works closely with Nathan to acclimatise him to the digital realm.
