Meanwhile, newlyweds Schmidt and Cece begin the search for their own house and Winston tries to balance his new long-distance relationship with Aly. Also, Nick struggles to write a novel set in New Orleans.
The final season picks up three years after Jess told Nick of her true feelings for him, Winston and Aly got engaged, and Cece and Schmidt received news that they are expecting.
