In July 2019, it was reported that Nickelodeon tween series 'Zoey 101' would be getting the reboot treatment.

While news of the reboot was subsequently quiet, the 'Zoey 101' cast did reunite for a sketch on Nickelodeon's 'All That'. The gang did a bunch of interviews to mark the reunion last summer.

'Zoey 101' wrapped in 2008 after airing for four seasons.

People have been wondering of late what happened to the reboot now that the entire Spears family are under media scrutiny in the wake of Britney Spears' conservatorship case.

Jamie Lynn Spears played the lead titular role in 'Zoey 101', but her stance in the conservatorship legal battle has been obscure.

Some believe that Jamie Lynn supports the conservatorship, and have attacked her on social media for it.

Others believe she is supportive of the #FreeBritney movement and has been keeping her stance private.

Over the weekend, Britney shared an Instagram post that many believe is calling out her younger sister.

Also last weekend, Jamie Lynn's 'Zoey 101' star Paul Butcher - who plays Zoey's little brother Dustin in the series - shared a post about the status of the reboot.

While it's not an official announcement, Butler claimed "I ACTUALLY THOUGHT THERE WOULD BE A ZOEY 101 REBOOT" on Tiktok.

Upon being asked by a fan if it really isn't happening anymore, he answered: "Deffo not."

Butler, who continues to sing and act to this day, has expressed support of the #FreeBritney movement on social media.

He threw additional shade at Jamie Lynn by replying to a comment that said "Whose Zoey? I only know Dustin and he was an only child…" with the laughing and crying emoji.

Jamie Lynn Spears has yet to comment.
