Ok, so we've survived another Monday relatively unscathed, but we still woke up thinking it was Wednesday. Boo. Never fear, it won't be long until you're heading home for the evening, and we've got tonight's telly planned out for your convenience.

Whether you'd prefer to head off on a culinary odyssey with the MasterChef crew, learn about the first ever archaeologist or Sweat The Small Stuff with Nick Grimshaw, you won't disappointed when channel hopping this evening. Of course, you could always head on over to Sky Atlantic and catch the season finale of The Following: That is, if Kevin Bacon hasn't gone and spoiled it for you already.

Here are our Top Three TV Picks for this evening:

3. The RTE Two New Comedy Awards RTE2: 10.45pm
Republic of Telly may be off our screens for another year, but Bernard and Jen are joining forces to front RTE Two's hunt for a brand new comedy star. There'll be 25 acts competing for the title over the next 5 weeks, so strap yourself in a prepare for a variety of excellent, mediocre and God awful comedy.

2. Later Live With Jools Holland
BBC2: 10.00pm
Vampire Weekend
, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Dido, all in one place? With Jools Holland? SOLD.

1. Champions League: Real Madrid v Borussia Dortmund
TV3: 7.30pm

Things are going to be incredibly tense at the Bernabeu tonight as Mourinho's boys attempt to claw their way back into contention for a Champions League final spot. That 4-1 defeat to Dortmund on the last leg can't have done much for morale, and hosting the Germans could prove rather difficult. We'll be keeping a close eye on Jose all evening... he says he's calm, but we're not buying it. Kick off is at 7.45pm.
