Our own Sharon Horgan certainly has been flying the flag for ladies in Irish telly of late, so we're only too delighted to hear that she's returning to our TV screens for an extended stint in Psychobitches.
The new Sky Arts comedy series began life as a single Playhouse Presents sketch last year, but proved so popular that the bigwigs decided to give it a full run. For those of you who aren't familiar with the show, it takes the mickey out of some of history's most famous females, by putting them on the psychiatrist's couch.
You'll get your first glimpse of our Sharon in Episode 2, when she pops up to play a love-struck Cleopatra and a brooding Vigina Woolf. And if you're one of those lasses who'd rather do a Taylor Swift and send women who have a laugh at the expense of other women to hell, then you're probably better off watching something else.
We're quite looking forward to the series ourselves, and you can catch Episode 1 tonight at 9pm on Sky Arts 1.
