What is sure to be one of the most talked-about TV moments of 2021 will air on Irish television next week. Here's all the information about the upcoming Oprah interview.

It has finally been confirmed that the Oprah interview with Prince Harry and Meghan will air over this side of the Atlantic on Monday night. RTÉ 2 has secured the rights to the special.

The interview will be broadcast over in the States on Sunday, March 7, and will be around one hour 45 minutes long.

The highly-acclaimed TV host will sit down with Meghan Markle to discuss the couple's decision to leave the Royal family and live out their lives in Los Angeles. She will later be joined by her husband, Prince Harry.

The couple announced last year that they would be stepping down from all Royal duties, and Oprah is expected to delve deep into this topic with the Duke and Duchess.

Harry and Meghan left the UK in order to get out of the spotlight and step down from Royal duties. They wish to have a more peaceful life, less in the spotlight, while living in LA. During 2020, the pair have managed to secure a deal with Netflix for multiple upcoming projects.

Just last week, Harry was interviewed by James Corden while on an open top bus tour around LA. Harry spoke about 'The Crown', and the pair of them visited the 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' mansion.

Here's the trailer for what is expected to be quite the interview.

If it's your type of thing, then be sure to tune into the Oprah interview with Harry and Meghan on Monday, March 8 at 9.30 PM on RTÉ 2.
