Well there is a gig going there now that Donald Trump has decided to frighten the world to its living core by running for President.

Lord Sugar has spent many a year as the boss on the UK Apprentice show, but it seems now he wouldn't mind expanding his horizons a bit and heading over across the pond to take over on the original version of the series.

The idea was suggested to him by a Twitter user recently, to which Sugar replied; ''I would like the challenge.'' While according to People.com. NBC has already reached out to Sugar, while The Sun newspaper also reported on it, with a source telling them; "As soon as NBC cut all ties with Trump, Lord Sugar and [show creator] Mark Burnett started talking.

''They obviously know each other really well from working on the British version and have a great relationship.''

However one man that won't be too happy about it will be Trump, who had a bit of a Twitter spat with Sugar a few years ago where he informed Sugar that; ''Without my show you'd be nothing''.

Eh, pretty sure he would still be the wealthy business man he already was but come on, it's not like Trump would ever come out with any incorrect, crazy statements or the like...

We reckon Sugar is undoubtedly the obvious choice, plus the Americans will go mad for hearing that cutting 'You're fired' in a British accent.

Thing is though, who will replace Sugar in the UK??

If it's Simon Cowell we have all officially failed as a human race.
