Seriously, this guy is actually running for president, and according to a poll on CNN he's not far off getting the nomination.
Donald Trump has been under increasing pressure over the last few days as a result of his comments about Mexico and the Mexican people in the speech that he made when announcing that he was running for president a few weeks back. In that speech, he stated that the Mexicans that come to the United States are "bringing drugs, they're bringing crime, they're rapists".
Unsurprisingly, that hasn't gone down well with most humans, and Trump has been ditched by NBC as well as Macy's in the wake of the controversy. In an attempt to clarify his remarks and react to claims that he's a racist, Trump did a phone interview with Don Lemon on CNN, in which...well things didn't quite go to plan.
The conversation started with some chat about his position in the polls and his opponents, but it soon turned to his comments about Mexicans (around the 6:12 mark), and stated that NBC were "weak" for cutting ties with him over the comments.
When Lemon questioned him about why he needed to call them rapists, he pointed to "the statistics" about illegal immigrants and rape, and when pushed by Lemon on the matter, he states "somebody's doing the raping, Don".
