According to a recent interview with Nintendo head-honcho Satoru Iwata, the hotly-anticipated series isn't going to be happening any time soon - if at all.
The article, which was originally posted by WSJ.com, detailed that Nintendo was looking at various intellectual properties which could be turned into TV series.
Legend of Zelda was named as one of the major contenders for such a process.
"As of now, I have nothing new to share with you in regard to the use of our IPs for any TV shows or films, but I can at least confirm that the article in question is not based on correct information."
That answers that, so.
Guess it's time to rewatch the crappy cartoon series from the 1980's to fill the void, then.
