One of ITV's most (at times) gut-wrenchingly awkward TV shows is returning later this autumn with two new team captains.

It looks like we'll have to get used to our very own Laura Whitmore on 'Celebrity Juice' for the upcoming series, with the presenter set to be pitted against 'The Inbetweeners' actress Emily Atack for the newest series of the comedy panel show.

Host Keith Lemon has no doubt lined up a lot of fresh debauchery for his two new team captains, with eight episodes and two 60-minute specials on the way later this year.

The news comes as Holly Willoughby announced her departure from the series earlier this year, following her 22-season run on the series that is about to enter its 24th season. Fearne Cotton was a regular team captain on the series alongside Holly, but exited the show for good in 2018. Spice Girls star Mel B competed against Holly in the previous two seasons of the show.

The presenter from Bray recently uploaded a picture of herself with her two new colleagues to Instagram, with the caption: "So excited to be the new team captain with my gal Emily Atack. All new 'Celebrity Juice' coming this autumn. Dream job! Bring it on [hands up emoji]."

While Keith Lemon also uploaded a video of the three of them celebrating the news.

In case you've forgotten what kind of madness Laura Whitmore might be getting herself in for this autumn, here's a reminder of one of the greatest moments the series has produced in the past - Ant and Dec "fumbling" with a special guest.
