Yet another Irish actor has been added to season two of the hit HBO series True Detective, joining already lined up stars Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn and Rachel McAdams.
Kerry native Timothy V Murphy has joined the cast as Russian gangster Osip Agranov... an Irish man playing a Russian? Sure why not.
The Tralee man is no stranger to Hollywood and has to date landed roles in the likes of Sons of Anarchy, Criminal Minds, The Lone Ranger, NCIS: Los Angeles, 24, Appaloosa and National Treasure: Book of Secrets.
He has also recently finished filming brand new Netflix comedy Grace and Frankie, starring Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin.
Yeah we hadn't heard of him before this either, but here's hoping we'll hear much more.
