With 'Friends' turning 25 years old recently, there has been a lot of speculation about a potential reunion.

And although co-creator Marta Kauffman abruptly shut down the possibility in recent weeks, the fact that the cast have not done the same has raised a few eyebrows.

Jennifer Aniston has already done her bit in stoking the rumours, and she pretty much confirmed that the six Friends are trying to get something going.

Aniston surprised singer (and big fan) Charlie Puth on 'The Ellen Show', when she reiterated that a 'Friends' reunion was not happening - but that something else might be on the cards.

“Like a reboot of the show?” she said, after Ellen put the possibility to her. “No.”

“We would love for there to be something, but we don’t know what that something is,” she continued. “So we’re just trying. We’re working on something.”

She added that the reason the six of them were recently photographed together was because "we miss each other and we all happened to be in the same part of the world" and later joked (?) that the thing they were working on was a "huge, huge, huge movie”.

She later told Stephen Colbert that 'something is happening:

So, in short, something is happening. When we find out what that 'something' is, you'll be the first to know.
