It's been 5 weeks since 'Love Island' ended and it appears that Gemma Owen could be hungry for more reality TV stints. Obviously, nothing dating related, since all she's loved up and has made things official with her villa partner, Luca Bish. But a source spoke to The Sun spilling the beans on what could be a new and tantalizing series.
The 'Love Island' runner-up is on a roll; she's just made Luca her boyfriend, she's secured a massive deal with clothing brand PrettyLittleThing, and apparently she could be signing on for a new reality TV show by Lime Productions.
These developers are responsible for the likes of 'Celebs Go Dating' and 'The Only Way is Essex', but by the looks of things Gemma won't be signing up for romance again any time soon. A source told The Sun that Owen is being headhunted to star in a show all about the lives of footballer's daughters — we're getting Paris Hilton heiress slash icon vibes from this.
They said "This new series is being billed as a one-of-a-kind show which will reveal what it is really like to be the daughter of a famous football star," and continued "Her dad Michael is one of England’s most famous footballing stars and given her huge popularity since she appeared on Love Island – she is the person they want signed up".
Paul Gascoigne's daughter Bianca, who appeared on 'Love Island' in 2006 and won, has also been tipped to join the show. The source explained "The series will follow the women’s daily lives and will look at the highs and lows of being related to a footballer".
Recently, Gemma has admitted that there are a lot of potential ventures coming her way, including "TV opportunities". While she hasn't confirmed any more TV related jobs yet, we've got our eyes and ears peeled.
