Gemma Collins will be one of the celebrities donning her skates for the upcoming series of 'Dancing with Ice' and the former TOWIE star insists she is planning to impress.

She told The Sun: "Everyone thinks I’m the fat joke on the show but whatever’s going to happen in my life, I can do this. And I’m going to prove every fucker out there wrong. People will be eating their words."

Phillip Schofield has said he thinks Gemma will quit like she did just a few days into 'I'm A Celebrity' while others have referenced that Radio 1 stage tumble.

Gemma has been training hard though and went on to say: "‘When I first started, I couldn’t even cross my legs over. I was like, “Oh no, my legs are too big,” but now they cross over fine. I think people will be impressed with what I can do.

"I’m not worried about injuries. I’m insured, actually, for a couple of million, so if I do have an accident, it sort of does me a favour, if you know what I mean. But I don’t want to."

Gemma joins the likes of Brian McFadden, Richard Blackwood, Corre's Jane Danson and Love Island's Wes Nelson in the lineup for the upcoming series of 'Dancing on Ice', which will return on Sunday, January 6th.
