'The Great British Bake Off' is coming back!
Following on from the announcement three weeks ago that filming on a socially-distanced production had wrapped, we now know the exact date 'The Great British Bake Off' 2020 will be back on our screens - and it's in under two weeks time.
With the new line-up of Noel Fielding and comedian Matt Lucas hosing the show, Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith will return to the iconic baking show on Channel 4 on Tuesday nights, beginning September 22.
The TV show's official Twitter account shared the joyous news this afternoon, tweeting: "Put a little love in your tart. Join us on Tuesday 22nd September for the return of 'The Great British Bake Off'!"

It is believed that season 11 was filmed under tight restrictions earlier this year at a new top-secret Essex location. Expect news on who the 13 new budding bakers will be over the coming two weeks. Last year's edition was won by David Atherton after 10 weeks of competing in the 'Bake Off' tent.
