Arthur Mathews is perhaps most knows as one-half of the writing team that brought you 'Father Ted' but his talents have also extended to co-creating the hilarious 'Toast of London' with Matt Berry and he has written for a number of iconic British comedy shows including 'The Fast Show', 'Brass Eye' and 'Harry Enfield and Chums'.
Mathews joined entertainment.ie TV Editor Fiona Flynn in studio recently for The Telly Show and they chatted about much anticipated 'Father Ted' musical on the way, as well as 'Toast', comedy writing, his inspiration for Father Stone and lots more. Fiona also goes through her TV picks for the week ahead.
