Although a good many fans of the series thought Toast Of London was to end on its third season, Matt Berry has confirmed that a fourth one is now in the works.

Berry made the announcement earlier in the week on BBC Radio 6, and also hinted that the fourth season could potentially be set in the US. The series, which is co-written by our own Arthur Matthews, has seen cameos from the likes of Jon Hamm, Sam Mendes, QOTSA's Josh Homme and Jude Law.

Berry clarified his comments in a later tweet, saying that "Toast will return in some form at some point. Neither Arthur or myself are writing anything for it at the moment." Berry is also understood to be involved with Simpsons creator Matt Groening's next effort, Disenchatment, which is set to debut at some stage in 2018.

Toast Of London is currently on Netflix.
