It's been another year where TV has once more raised the bar and delivered some quality drama with star-studded casts and stellar performances. The Emmys for TV land are what the Academy Awards are to the movie world, so obviously bagging one of these bad boys is no small feat to the stars and shows nominated.

Nominees were announced by Ken Jeong and D’Arcy Carden today (Tuesday). 'Game of Thrones' may not have quite lived up to expectation for many viewers but it's still managed to earn a record breaking 32 noms. Amazon Prime's 'The Marvelous Mrs Maisel' is in second place with 20 nods, closely followed by Chernobyl (19).

Other nominess include 'Fleabag', 'Russian Doll', 'True Detective', 'Bodyguard' and 'Barry'.
