Will this be enough for Iceland to claim a victory at the singing competition?

The Icelandic Eurovision entry for 2021 was unveiled a couple of weeks ago, but now we have a music video to go alongside it. Dadi Freyr's '10 Years' certainly doesn't disappoint, and is as delightfully cheesy and alternative as you'd have expected.

As you can see in the video below, Dadi and his band Gagnamagnid have gone all super-hero on us, as they attempt to take down a monster that is terrorising their home country. It's all very '80s and 'Power Rangers'-esque, so it is right up our street.

Actor Ólafur Darri Ólafsson shows up during the music video as the Mayor of Iceland, and the remainder of the spectacle is drenched head to toe in funky dance moves. The song is extremely catchy too, which you must have already guessed.

This is Dadi Freyr and Gagnamagnid's second attempt at claiming the Eurovision trophy. Their entry for last year, 'Think About Things', caught just about every music fan's attention with its quirky nature and deadpan stares.

As the Icelandic entry for this year's Eurovision contest, they are hoping to clinch the title for the Scandinavian country for the very first time.

Here's the music video for Dadi Freyr and '10 Years' for you.

Eurovision 2021 will take place this year in Rotterdam. The first semi-final will kick off this year's competition on Tuesday, May 18, with the second semi-final on Thursday, May 20. The grand finale will take place on Saturday, May 22.

Ireland's Lesley Roy and her new song 'Maps' will battle it out in the first semi-final.
