Amber Rose-Gill, who won last year's 'Love Island' alongside Greg O'Shea, has advice for the next generation of islanders.

In fact, any fan of the last edition of the reality series knows, Amber really won it on her own.

Her story of heartbreak and recovery over Michael inspired viewers.

Plus we all just got just a little kick over favourites Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury not winning.

Sadly Greg and Amber split shortly after the series wrapped and rather brutally, as you'll recall.

Amber's tips for the contestants of Winter 'Love Island' no doubt was inspired by that experience.

Asked what advice she'd offer, she wrote on Twitter: "I would say be yourself always stay true to yourself

"take everything with a pinch of salt

"have fun don't worry about a thing

"and alway [sic.] remember these men r trash"

Ooof.

The new 'Love Island' commences on Sunday, 12th January at 9pm on Virgin Media One.
