The brand new HBO Max trailer features a hefty amount of upcoming TV shows, and it's got us pretty excited.

HBO Max has a lot of great content on the way. Releasing a teaser trailer of what's to come on the day that their 'Game of Thrones' prequel series, 'House of the Dragon', launches its first episode, we've got a look at some pretty incredible content that's incoming very soon - including 'The Last Of Us' adaptation.

'The White Lotus' was a huge success for HBO last year, and season two will see us join a new bunch of painfully rich snobs enjoy some downtime in Sicily. Jennifer Coolidge returns from season one and as we can see in the new footage teased below, she'll be joined by new cast members Aubrey Plaza, Theo James, Will Sharpe, Tom Hollander and more. The series begins this October.

The other returning shows teased include 'Succession' season four, 'His Dark Materials' final season (which will air on the BBC over here), 'Hacks' season three, 'Our Flag Means Death' season two, 'Julia' season two, 'Minx' season two, 'Warrior' season three, 'The Gilded Age' season two, 'Gossip Girl' season two and 'And Just Like That...' season two.

One new addition that looks right up our street is 'The Idol', which also released a brand new teaser trailer overnight (watch it here), and revealed the full cast of the upcoming dark drama series from 'Euphoria' creator Sam Levinson. The already announced cast of Abel "The Weeknd" Tesfaye, Lily-Rose Depp, Troye Sivan, Debby Ryan and Hari Nef will be joined in the six-part series by Dan Levy, Jane Adams, Da'Vine Joy Randolph, Eli Roth, Hank Azaria and former Blackpink member Jennie Kim.

Other new shows included in the goosebump-worthy reel are 'The White House Plumbers' starring Domhnall Gleeson, Woody Harrelson and Justin Theroux; and 'Love & Death' with Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons, Lily Rabe and Krysten Ritter.

The final show to get teased is the upcoming adaptation of 'The Last Of Us' starring Pedro Pascal, Bella Ramsey, Gabriel Luna and Nick Offerman. Based on the popular video game series of the same name, the series will follow Joel and Ellie as they attempt to navigate the US in a dangerous post pandemic world.

Here's the full HBO Max trailer.

Most of, if not all, of these titles will be available in Ireland and the UK via Sky and streaming service NOW. Expect release dates for all titles in the near future, but we won't see many of these until next year.
