Another series of this fly-on-the-wall documentary programme returns revealing the secret life of the animals of Chester Zoo, one of Britain's most popular zoos. They use new micro-rig technology to capture the behaviour of the animals and their close relationships with their keeper, with tonight's episode kicking off with Pedro the giant anteater. He is about to be reunited with his long-term partner, Bliss, but then he falls ill and faces a major operation, with an uncertain outcome. Also tonight, the zoo's extremely rare bald ibises produce a batch of new chicks, who are destined to be released back into the wild in southern Spain. There's also a chance to witness the reunion of rhino couple Beni and Asha, who have been kept separate for four years.
