Fair enough. Can we watch?

The Bad Neighbours actor openly admits to smoking green "every day" and he believes it would be "cool" if the retired soccer star joined him in lighting up a spliff. We're obliged at this point to say that smoking joints - with David Beckham or otherwise - is not cool, kids. Even if it is his birthday.

Speaking to FHM, he said: "I would like to smoke a joint with David Beckham ... That would be cool. I pretty much smoke weed every day. I work a ton, probably much more than anyone would like to think I do. But I do also smoke weed, which I don't think stops me from working a lot."

The Canadian actor, 32, doesn't think smoking marijuana is a "big deal" because it's not frowned upon in his country, but he admits the laws surrounding the drug in different countries - such as in the US - confuse him.

He added: "Where I'm from, it's [smoking cannabis is] not taboo at all. To me it's like asking somebody if they have a beer at the end of the day or something. It's no big deal. The laws are ludicrous in America, too. You can unknowingly cross the border in some places and buy weed legally for recreational use, then in others you can go to f**king jail for 20 years for having the same amount of weed on you."

The full interview avec photoshoot appears in this month's FHM Magazine, which is on sale now folks. Maybe you'll get to find out exactly why Seth would like to share a joint with David Beckham in particular, 'cause this post sure didn't answer that question.

To celebrate David Beckham's 39th birthday today, here's a gallery of him not quite in his birthday suit.
