Good. Lord. Am I alone in wanting to stroke Kate Hudson's hair/thighs for the rest of the morning? She just looks like liquid silver and - quite frankly - she's making me feel a bit funny for this hour of the morning. Instead of getting all leery, we'll instead say that she looked simply sublime in Atelier Versache.
Next in the top ten list of the very well turned out is Cate Blanchett. She always looks ethereal, so it's unsurprising that she's managed to make her flesh morph into an Armani dress embellished with Swarovski crystals.
Another goddess who coerced her body to sprout a gown was Angelina Jolie, who bared her new cleavage in Ellie Saab.
OK, dresses hanging from nowhere was obviously the theme of last night, as it appears Charlize Theron's shoulders have unfurled a Christian Dior mermaid inspired number. That or she's holding up a cardboard cutout dress... Girls' World Fashion Wheel, anyone?
Now, honestly? Not gone on Jennifer Lawrence's Dior dress. It makes her torso look a bit on the lengthy side, but that's just us nitpicking. Everyone else gave it the thumbs up.
Amy Adams' Gucci number had many dismayed due to the lack of boobage on offer (she had us spoiled at the Golden Globes), but this is the Oscars... Stiff upper lip/bodice 'n all that.
We have a surprise entry in the form of Kristen Bell. Generally her dresses are unremarkable - much like her films (apologies, we didn't exorcise the 'b*tch' in us when compiling the 'worst' dressed list because nobody looked that bad!) - but this Roberto Cavalli dress is hitting all the right notes.
Olivia Wilde dressed her bump to perfection in Valentino...
After a litany of red carpet disasters this awards season (who could forget her ode to Sarah Palin), Julia Roberts went out on a high in Givenchy Couture.
Lastly, everyone was waiting to see what the girl-who-can-do-no-wrong on the red carpet brought herself in. Lupita wore Prada. The general consensus is "winner". Personally, I reckon she needs a bit more coverage in the chest area. Just a necklace, or something.
