I know, it's not like Dina and Michael to be riding Lindsay's coattails or anything, but they both decided they wanted to write tell all books just a few months after Lindsay got her book deal. Well, that's kind of what's happened.
Surprisingly enough, this story has been trending for the last hour, and we're not sure why. Aren't the Lohans done? I feel like they've written several books and personally read them to me while I sleep. Put it this way, given the amount of views this story regarding Lindsay's initial book deal received, we can't see too many of you rushing out to purchase it for a loved one next Christmas.
Despite this, the following TMZ story is everywhere this morning. Probably because Michael Lohan hasn't actually been offered a book deal at all. He's just considering letting Dina write her tell-all if her people agree to give him a book deal.
The article reads: "As we first reported ... Michael put the legal kibosh on Dina's book by reminding there's a gag order from their divorce ... so she'd have to leave out plenty of the juicy details. But now we're told Michael struck a deal with Dina's publishers at Birdstreet Books -- he'll sign a legal doc releasing Dina from the gag order ... if the company gives him his own book deal. We're told Birdstreet already has what they believe is a lucrative contract for Michael to sign -- but it's not lucrative enough... so he's holding out. The only real loser in this deal ... Lindsay -- of course."
I know, they won't let her just have ONE thing for herself. Apart from Samantha Ronson.
