When you're the star of the biggest TV show in the world - and indeed, one of the biggest series of all time - it brings an incredible amount of pressure with it.
It seems that Kit Harington aka Jon Snow found out just how much pressure that carrying 'Game of Thrones' entailed in recent weeks.
The New York Post's Page Six reported that Harington checked himself into a rehab facility for stress and alcohol abuse ahead of the recent finale.
They say that he has been at luxury private health retreat Prive-Swiss in Connecticut for almost a month, "undergoing psychological coaching, practicing mindful meditation and cognitive behavioral therapy to combat stress and deal with negative emotions at the facility."
A spokesman for Harington said "Kit has decided to utilize this break in his schedule as an opportunity to spend some time at a wellness retreat to work on some personal issues.”
If you've seen the documentary 'The Last Watch', you'll see just how much that the show clearly meant to the 32-year-old actor, as he broke down crying when he had wrapped his last shot, telling the crew that he "loved it more than anything."
By all accounts, his wife Rose Leslie - who played Ygritte on 'Game of Thrones' - is being "extremely supportive".
