Kim Kardashian West has announced on Twitter that she has lobbied the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey, to introduce an edit button for tweets.
She said that she spoke with Dorsey about the oft-requested feature at Kanye West's birthday party over the weekend, writing "I think he really heard me out on the edit button."
I had a very good convo with @jack this weekend at Kanye’s bday and I think he really heard me out on the edit button.

Dorsey quickly replied to her on Twitter, joking, “Now I see why I was invited!” She replied : “Hahaha never! Kanye loves you! But I had to bring it up."

Kim K first brought up the idea of implementing an edit option into tweets back in 2015.

In the last year, Twitter has implemented various changes to its platform, including doubling the character limit of tweets, threaded conversations, and improved its muting options. However, it has not introduced the option to edit tweets.
The news comes just a couple of weeks after Kim met with Donald Trump to discuss prison reform. She said afterwards that Trump "really spent the time to listen to our case that we were making for Alice. He really understood and I am very hopeful that this will turn out really positively, I hope."
Yesterday, clips from the episode in which she and Kanye West played Celebrity Family Feud with the West and Kardashian clans emerged online.
