Whatever you may think of Kim Kardashian West and her shamelessness, at least she's using her fame for a good cause - in this case, prison reform and the case of Alice Marie Johnson, a 63-year old woman who's currently serving a life sentence without hope of parole due to federal jail system guidelines for drug offences.

The meeting took place yesterday and, according to Kim Kardashian West, was fruitful. Speaking to Mic after the meeting, Kardashian West said that Trump "really spent the time to listen to our case that we were making for Alice. He really understood and I am very hopeful that this will turn out really positively, I hope."

Really? You really hope that?

Let's check some comments Trump made about drug dealers and traffickers recently. In March of this year when discussing America's opiod crisis, Trump said "(some)countries have a very tough penalty, the ultimate penalty, and they have much less of a drug problem than we do." Just to be clear, he's talking about executing drug dealers. Kim Kardashian West thinks he's going to pardon a woman convicted of running a multi-million dollar cocaine ring in the '90s.

That not enough? According to a transcript of a call that took place between Trump and Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, Trump praised Duterte's brutal tactics and said he was doing "an unbelievable job," and said that "..many countries have the problem, we have a problem, but what a great job you are doing and I just wanted to call and tell you that."

Kim Kardashian West thinks this guy is going to give Alice Marie Johnson a pardon or get her parole. Sure. OK.
