In case you missed it, John Oliver, host of 'Last Week Tonight' has presented another perceptive monologue about the coronavirus. This time the focus of his discussion was on the unemployed and essential workers.

This marks the TV talk show host's fourth focus on the pandemic, if you exclude last week's biting OAN critique.

Oliver took aim at President Trump's handling of the crisis while Larry Kudlow's wife Judy's artwork was also a big receipt of criticism. (in fairness, that whole painting your husband's shirts and ties thing is very odd...)

The strongest point of the host's argument is when he points out the inadequate support that some companies have given their essential workers. This includes creating an environment where social distancing is impossible; a lack of provision of PPE; and lack of financial aid.

It's 20 minutes long but absolutely worth watching in full. This is engrossing stuff.
