It hasn't been a good week for Gwyneth Paltrow.

The Hollywood actress was slammed last week after revealing what some experts deemed her 'dangerous' daily eating habits, and now she has a court case on her hands relating to a skiing accident.

Paltrow is accused of 'out of control' skiing in 2016, where she allegedly crashed into retired optometrist Terry Sanderson at the Deer Valley Resort in Utah.

Sanderson claims that the actress hit him hard, "knocking him down hard, knocking him out, and causing a brain injury, four broken ribs and other serious injuries". He also claims that an employee of the resort saw him and did not offer to help.

He had previously attempted to sue Paltrow for $3.1 million in damages in 2019, but that case was dropped. Now, he is seeking $300,000 in the new suit.

Paltrow had countersued on the original claim for $1, alleging that the accident was Sanderson's fault and that she was left 'shaken' by the accident.

The trial is expected to last for 8 days, and Paltrow is due to testify in court today.
